FAQ
My friend shows as "offline"
They may have stopped sharing, lost signal/GPS, or fully closed the app. Sharing resumes when they reopen the app.
The arrow seems off at close range
GPS has a margin of error of several meters. Very close range is hard for GPS; on supported iPhones the app can switch to precise short-range (UWB).
The arrow doesn't rotate in a browser
Tap "Enable compass" and allow Motion & Orientation access. On iPhone, this permission is required once per site.
How do I stop sharing?
Use "Pause" to hide temporarily, or "End" to stop sharing completely.
